Upgrades can boost the value of certain numeric statistics on armor, weapons and rings. Upgrades can also boost bonuses like crit chance and PvE Damage.

Components
Upgrade components can be added to trinkets, weapons and armor to give them a stat boost or to add an additional effect. They can be acquired through crafting, purchasing from vendors trading or looting. Certain upgrades come with special cosmetic effects.
Upgrade components can be placed in equipment with a slot for them. The item must have been at least upgraded to the blue level to allow a component to be inserted.
